St. John the Evangelist
Just after Christ announced
that one of the apostles will betray him, it is written in the
bible that St. Peter beckoned to the
disciple 'whom Jesus loved' and asked 'who is should
be of whom He spoke.' John is the one whom
Jesus loved, and he is shown here calmly leaning back towards
St. Peter to hear his question.
