The Ambassadors is a gigantic incredibly detailed painting with a very large thing across the bottom. If you stand really close to the right edge of the painting, close enough to piss off the National Gallery security guards, you can look at the painting at such a sharp angle that you can actually see this for yourself. I report from personal experience (October 2001).

But nothing beats Photoshop.
